In order to support Palestinian children, Sharjah Municipality participates in "Peace for Children" campaign that commenced in mid April subject to the wise directives of HH Sheikha Jawahir Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, chair person for the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah and consort of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, may Allah protect him. The campaign organizes a number of activities in various district parks in solidarity with the Red Crescent and Sharjah Empowerment Center. Ms. Hanan Jasim, Head of Parks and activities Division, stated that the Municipality Management decided to support this campaign with a number of activities as well as the financial and moral contribution in cooperation with many of the governmental institutions in the context of fundraising through several events. Hanan Jasim said:" A children marching was organized at Dasman Park, charity market and many events with proceeds going to campaign, whereas the fund raised on the first day has reached more than 3000 dirham".

There were many activities organized at Al Shargan Park included interesting presentations and documentary films about Palestine issue, charity dish, charity market and a play having the title of "Mohammed Al Durra". Hanan urged the public to participate in Al Ramtha Park activities in the end of May organized in solidarity with Family Development Centers that include many of surprises and different activities.
