Founded in the year 1980 on an approximate area of 4500 square meter, and adjacent to Al-khour, the market has 44 shops for selling fresh fish and other 9 shops for fish cleaning, all were totally equipped with facilities that guarantees a safer sea food.

The shops building is about 850 meters long with cement walls painted in white and decorated with colorful zigzag ceilings.
