This park is considered to be one of the most family- oriented parks in the emirate, built on an approximate area of 250,000 square meter on an island inside Khalid lagoon facing the central mall. It was first opened to public on 21 st October 1979 , first day of Al Adha Eid holidays.
The park has an integrated recreational system for all age groups, including 18 games such as “ Enterprise ” which is a space ship shape in rotation position, and the astrojet game that takes riders on an exciting space tour. In addition to cars, boats, and a train that takes visitors for a tour around the park, there is the Khalid lagoon to see, as well as a small zoo.
he park has a number of facilities such as cafeterias offering fast food and snacks, kiosks for toys, souvenirs, a swimming pool, and green walking tracks.
