Sharjah Municipality constructed the stunning Holy Quran monument located in the middle of Sharjah Culture Center roundabout. Built from concrete on an area of 20 684 thousand square meters, the 7 meters high monument depicts an open book of the Holy Quran.

The monument is decorated using glass mosaic which has been beautifully worked into the green surface of the monument. The two vast open pages measure 4.20 X 2.40 meters. The monument is in the middle of an octagon surrounded by flowers and plants, and is surrounded by an interesting 3 level flower beds feature. The Holy Quran monument was designed to face towards the Ruler’s Court.
