According to the wise directives of HH Dr. Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohamed Al Qasimi member of the supreme council-Sharjah Rule, He Salah Tahir Al Haj, Director General of Sharjah Municipality an agreement with Globe Constructors Ltd. for a modern project with the Andulisian type comprises of four storey for Sharjah Municipality. The construction works cost 150 million dirham with an area reaches 100,000 cubic meters. The project contains garage and car parking for 250 cars.

Dr. Salah said that the future building is designed to be constructed at Al Musalla Area is from the framework of HH Dr. Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohamed Al Qasimi to develop governmental establishments to cope with the continuous advancement in the various area, besides the readiness of constructions, human resources and technical systems that enables it to provide services in the highest and easiest methods for the inhabitants. The recent building of the Municipality, which was constructed 30 years before has become less escorting with the fast progress witnessed by the emirate of Sharjah in the different fields of life and lacks the readiness to utilize serving areas.
